Your Accommodation...

And Your Holiday Options

You will be staying in our recently built, but wholly traditional style, home, situated just five  kilometres from the centre of Bergerac. It sits on a hectare of land in a rural setting and embraces a 5 x 10 metre  swimming pool in its terrace - a delightful area for eating (and happy hours!), or cooling off with a dip after a day's touring.

                                                                 Pat and Richard's Home

The house can accommodate up to six guests in double or twin rooms, two of which are on the ground floor and one upstairs.

While you are staying with us most of your evening meals, and of course, all your breakfasts, will be provided, but on three evenings you will be eating out with the locals!  We will arrange any bookings you require.

and the pool!

On three days during the week, we set off at a civilised hour in the morning to go to destinations selected by yourselves from many within the range of an hour and a half's drive.

These places include historic towns and cities such as Sarlat, Bordeaux or Perigueux for example, and visits to vineyards or Chateaux or the prehistoric cave paintings, to suggest just a few.

On the other days there will be plenty of free time for local walking, or exploring the town, gardens, and the peaceful riverside.

Bergerac Market

Getting to Bergerac is not difficult. Bergerac Airport is the destination for flights from both London Gatwick and Stansted and many regional UK airports, together with flights from Amsterdam and Brussels. For those arriving from further afield connections from Paris airports are frequent, taking the TGV from Paris to Libourne, and thence a local train to Bergerac.

In addition Bordeaux Airport hosts flights from many European and North  African countries, but intercontinental flights centre on Paris.

When you book we send a comprehensive Information Sheet detailing the trip to Bergerac.

We also offer a four night package. It includes :
